Ahhh the evil juicer. I'm starting my blog with this painting because this showed me that I can actually render halfway decent. This painting was intimidating to say the least. Staring at the shiny thing wondering how to get a "shiny silver" to come across on a painting when there is no shiny silver oil paint to be had. I had to scrub out and start this one over 3 or 4 times before I found a composition that I was half way happy with. Once I started figuring out the shapes and how to render it, it started to move quicker. Unfortunately that was in about the last 2 hours of painting lol. I started taking pic's of it in B&W to help see it better and it really helped. After coming home and uploading them I would see something else that needs to be done and hop back in the car and rush over to the studio to paint. I spent about 13 hours on this painting fixing mistakes, but figuring out what I did wrong in the process too. I think I have learned the most from this painting so far. I guess the addictions I have were not enough I needed one more. LOL
