Hand dyed/painted silk scarves.

Silk scarves I tie dyed with kool-aid. I've figured out for the most part kool aid is what I really love to dye with. It's smells yummie, it's a exhaust dye, which means there is no guess work when it's done the water turns clear, and it's not toxic so I don't have to have a different set of pans to dye with, and you have to mix the colors who dosen't love mixing colors! :)

Handmade book and paper.

This is the book I made in fibers class. The paper was made from abaca pulp mixed with handpainted bamboo fiber. The pages were wispy and soft but still strong.

Quilt

The quilt is finally finished. What did I learn from this?? Always ALWAYS make sure that the beads you want to use will all fit on your quilting needle! For every bead that is on this quilt there was probably about 5 that didn't fit my needle, and beading needles are not strong enough to quilt with lol.
